FOTD: Galactic Realm

I've been on a roll lately with these FOTDs. I'm surprised myself!

Today's featured eyeshadow is also a new one. I've had this one forever and I just opened it today. This past week or so has been like Christmas. LOL. Opening new (but old goodies I've had for a while) is really fun!

Wet n Wild i-sparkle Eyeshadow
141 Galactic Realm

Today's Face Ingredients.
Avon Smooth Minerals Liquid Foundation in Medium Beige
Wet n Wild Natural Wear Mineral Foundation in Medium
Marimekko for Avon All-Over Face Palette in Poppy Bouquet
Avon Smooth Minerals Blush in Golden Glow

E.L.F. Eyelid Primer
Wet n Wild i-sparkle Eyeshadow in Galactic Realm
Laura Mercier Thickening and Building Mascara in Black

Garden Botanika Slipgloss in Rosehip
Full face.

I used Golden Glow as my blush
and Poppy Bouquet just as a cheek highlight.

I used the black shade in Galactic Realm as a liner
on the upper and lower lash line.
I also added the purple shadow to the lower lash line.

I used the white shadow from lid to brow bone.
The purple shade went in the crease.
The gray shade went above the crease.

Garden Botanika Slipgloss
I had been really proud of the looks I had done this week. I think I fell short with this one. To me, this one is one of those times that the shadows look better in the pan than they do on the eyes. That's my opinion.

I am not too crazy about this look. It's not bad but it's just not all that good either. The shadows were really soft and smooth. Applied well and blended easily. It's just...I don't know...boring, maybe?

It's just that it looks soooo pretty in the palette. I am a little disappointed, I admit. Oh well, no biggie. I can't remember the exact price. I bought it at Wal-Mart and it wasn't more than $5.00 so...

Even though this wasn't one of my better looks, I still decided to share because of the simple fact that nothing is wonderful all the time. LOL.

Luve & Luk,

♥♥ All products mentioned in this post were bought by me with my own money. ♥♥

  1. Heyyyy!!!! You're doing so well with all the FOTDs keep em coming!!! Great look hun

  2. I don't think it's a boring look at all. I'm more of a neutral eye look type of person so this eotd is right up my alley! BTW, that palette looks pretty! Never seen it before.

  3. @TeaserhiMUA, heyyy!!! LOL. Thanks, girlie, I'm trying here. I think my ideas are going to start drying up soon! LOL. :)

@jessenia isabel, I'm glad you liked this. I've been into the bolder and brighter colors lately so I guess that's why this one didn't float my boat so much. LOL. The palette is really pretty. I found mine at Wal-Mart but a while back. There were 3 different ones. I have 2 only. I hope I can find the other one so I can have the complete set :)

  4. I've never see that palette either. Must have been something I over looked ;[ Too bad, it's so cool looking and I love the look you created with it ;)

  5. @WitchHazel, thank you! I can't tell you how long ago I bought this. Maybe 3-4 months ago...??? I'm not sure if they would still be available. I believe I saw these at Walgreen's too. Maybe you can keep an eye out for it, just in case!

  6. You look so cute:) I love your lips:)

  7. Ohhh.. my new mission is going to be trying to hunt those suckers down! That and the Gilded Age trio. And the Milani Paint Palette. And a list of other things none of the drugstores in my area care to stock! So frustrating when you're trying to get your hands on LE products.

  8. Great look, I've never seen this palette before!

  9. @DeyiMizu, LOL, I don't think I've ever been called cute before! Thank you :)

@WitchHazel, I hear ya! I hate LE products because I always want them but can never find them in stores because everyone else and their mothers already bought them! LOL. I want that Gilded Age trio too but what's the Milani Paint Palette?? I'm curious now LOL. Oh did you hear that Wet n Wild is coming out with more LE trios? Ahh!

@Joann, thanks :) I have another one of these. I believe it's blue and brown. Hmm... LOL. There is one other that I didn't get to buy that was brown and green. I haven't looked for them anymore so I don't know if they are still available. Booo....

  10. That's so pretty. I love everything, especially your lippie. =)

  11. @D.Sadie, thank you. Can you believe that the lippie came with 2 others in a package for $1.00! LOL. Yup. I got 3 of these lippies for a buck at my local Dollar Tree. This one is the mid shade. I got one darker and one lighter.

  12. How pretty! I used to have the wnw palette :)

  13. I think it looks good! I think brighter looks suit you really well though. I think its the shadow it seems to not be very pigmented. None the less you look very pretty. I love the lip color!

  14. @Vintage Makeup, thank you! I've had it for a while I just didn't want to use it because I thought it was so pretty. LOL. How did you like it? I thought it could have been better. But it really is pretty. Haha. :)

@Amber, thank you, my friend. I'm starting to like the brighter looks more now so I guess that's why this one was just, ehh, to me. LOL. But I think you are right, the shadows just weren't that pigmented. If the colors applied like the way they look in the pan, then I'd probably like it a lot! :)
