Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Kisses on My List

Hello, my Pretties!

I am back already with part two of my Anastasia Beverly Hills review.  Now it's time for the lippies!

In case you missed my post of the Want You to Want Me kit, you can see it HERE.

Eeek!  I had already tested out two of the Anastasia Hydrafull Glosses and I fell in love with them so I was more than happy to receive another three of them plus three NEW glosses!

Isn't the packaging pretty and simple?  I like it.  This packaging compliments the Want You to Want Me kit with matching dangling gold chains and letters.  I love that all six shades are easily viewed, therefore making it easy to fall in love with.  This would make an excellent Christmas gift, I'm telling you.

Description taken directly off the packaging:

"INTRODUCING HYPERCOLOR
Every great relationship starts with a little...chemistry.  This limited-edition set includes three sheer, ultra-hydrating glosses, and three new and exclusive HYPERCOLOR glosses.  HYPERCOLOR reacts with your skin's chemistry to stain your lips a custom hue that is all your own.  It will only take you being yourself to be absolutely, uniquely beautiful."

In this set of six glosses, the first two are creams, the other four have shimmer.

Here are swatches of the three HYDRAFULL GLOSSES:

All glosses are equipped with this plastic spatula that serves as the applicator.  In all honesty, I love the Anastasia lip glosses but I'm not fond of the applicator.  Granted, it serves it's purpose, but personally, I like using a brush better.

And here are all six glosses side by side so you can compare.  Top to bottom:

After I finished swatching, the three HYPERCOLOR Glosses left behind quite a stain!

Even on my lips!  Wow.  The photo above are my lips after all lip gloss has been removed and lips scrubbed with a wet towel.  WOW.  WOW.  WOW!!!  Look at that stain!  I love it.  It's gorgeous!!!  Call me a liar if you want to but I swear to you I woke up with my lips looking like this the following morning.  These have got to be my NEW FAVORITE GLOSSES!

And just like the Want You to Want Me kit, the Kisses on My List kit also follows the same 70's feel.  Sharona, Roxanna...all the lovelies of the 1970's.

The Kisses on My List kit retails for $30 ($108 value) and is available for purchase at Sephora or Anastasia.net.

Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Want You to Want Me

Hello, my Pretties!

Ah!  I'm so thrilled to have a couple more of Anastasia Beverly Hills products to review for you!!  I have been so blessed to be a part of this partnership with Anastasia and have enjoyed everything that has come along with it.

Today I bring to you this year's Anastasia Holiday Kits.

This time I got sent two wonderfully beautiful kits.  An eye kit: Want You to Want Me and a lip kit: Kisses on My List.

First I will show you the Want You to Want Me kit.  I took a lot of pictures for you so I will have to make two posts on this one fabulous review.

The Want You to Want Me kit is inspired by the "glam and decadence of the 1970's".  The collection of shadows depicts the 70's rock era.  Hence the sweet shadow names and the special little gift.

So, of course in true Anastasia fashion, this was the little special added bonus we got sent for reviewing these items.  So cute!  The keepsake looks like a record--you know, the old fashion way we (or our parents, anway) used to play music.  This is the cover.

And this is the back cover.  Adorable the way it labels SIDE 1 Want You to Want Me and SIDE 2 Kisses on My List.  Truly has the look and feel of a record sleeve.

To top off the cuteness, is a real record only this one is made of paper and not vinyl.  Sweet nonetheless!

And here come the photos of this sexy little thing!

This is the Want You to Want Me kit in the case.  Adorable little "gold" chains decorate the box.

Description taken directly off the back of the kit box:

"WANT YOU TO WANT ME EYE SHADOW PALETTE
Nine matte and pearlized nudes and plums make your eyes a velvet goldmine for any event.  Liquid Eye Liner and Mini Clear Brow Gel are perfect finishing touches, making sure you still look great even after the after-party.  Throw the removable shadow palette in your clutch for a takeaway touch-up wherever your night takes you."

Take the kit out of the box and this is what you see!  A little black velvet box with a gold chain embossed on the cover...

...and on the back too.

So, when you open up the kit, this is what is inside.  Isn't it lovely??  I think so!

And the exciting, "drum roll moment" for me was opening up the eye shadow palette.  It is gorgeous!

When you remove the eye shadow palette, this is what is underneath.  It is a list of the names of the shadows.  Forgive me for my lighting.  I know not what I do.

Once I finished drooling over the shades of shadows came the fun part.  The swatching!

The swatches are being displayed on my forearm on bare skin.  No primer.  No base.  No foundation.  The shadows are being displayed top to bottom (left to right on the palette).

All shadows had a buttery smooth texture.  The matte shades were powdery soft but took a little more application to transfer well on to my skin.  The pearlized shows applied like a dream.  I cannot get over how silky these shadows feel to the touch.

Also included in the kit is a mini liquid eyeliner.  I love liquid eyeliner and this one is no exception.  I loved the pigmentation and the fine brush is great for making thin lines of liner.

And in my last Anastasia kit I got to review, I got sent a brow gel but it was a tinted one.  It was a very light brown verging on blonde shade that did not go well with my black brows at all.  I loved the formula of the brow gel but not the color.

This time, I got a mini CLEAR brow gel and I love it!  I had always heard wonderful things when it came to the Anastasia brow gels but never had a chance to own one/try one until now.  Pretty good stuff!

And to finish up the perfect little kit is a dual ended eye shadow brush.  Lovely!

The Want You to Want Me kit retails for $34 ($90 value) and is available at Sephora or Anastasia.net.

Coming up...Kisses on My List.
