I have so much makeup that is still in the original packaging. I don't know what I'm saving it for but it's time to bust them out!
So here is another Face Of The Day using Wet n Wild once again. This time it's the Silent Treatment trio. This is a very nice, very wearable trio.
And since yesterday I did a bold eye with a neutral lip, I decided to switch it up today. I'm doing a neutral eye with a bold lip. Smart, eh? LOL.
Today's Face Ingredients. |
Avon Healthy Makeup Mousse Foundation in V201 Medium Beige
Avon Ideal Shade Smooth Mineral Foundation in M01 Transparent Glow
Avon Smooth Minerals Blush in M102 Hearty Peach
E.L.F. Shimmering Facial Whip in Citrus
Eyes:
E.L.F. All Over Cover Stick in Honey
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Wet n Wild Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Clinique Lash Doubling Mascara in Black
Lips:
CVS Chap-Block Lip Balm
NYC Lipstick in 309 Sheer Red
I applied the eye shadows the way it is advised on the eye shadow themselves. The peachy cream on my browbone. The dark chocolate sparkly brown in the crease. The smooth shimmery taupe on the lid.
I am pleased with this trio. The colors are well pigmented and apply very smooth with no fall out. The shadows are easy to blend as well. They are soft and the color is easily picked up with a makeup brush. Very good product.
I can see this everyday look turned into an evening look just by going a little heavier on the eyeliner and another coat of mascara. What do you think? I think it's a versatile look.
Thanks for joining me yet again, my Pretties.

ReplyDeleteits like a very soft smokey eye, love it!
ReplyDeleteI want that trio, I don't know what the heck I'm waiting for to buy it lol. It looks great like she said ^^^"its like a very soft smokey eye" I love the lip color too. :)
ReplyDeleteAww, you're always looking so pretty in all of your pictures :) I love this look! I've been really hesitant about trying WnW trios, though, because the last one I bought was a total disaster :(
ReplyDeleteGorgeous lippy!
ReplyDelete@Jessy, thank you. I'm really loving this lippie too. I've used once before but I think I'm going to use it more often :)
ReplyDelete@Miranda, thank you. Do you have this trio? It's so pretty, right? My favorite is the lid shade :)
@Ev, LOL, that's what I was thinking, "a very soft smokey eye"!
@frugalspender19, buy it! It's a really pretty trio. And the lippie, it was less than a dollar at Wal-Mart. Get it too! LOL. I'm such an enabler :)
@Huda Kaake, awww, thank you so much! I love my blog! This is the only place that I get compliments! LOL. I like this trio a lot. I saw that the Cool As A Cucumber left you a little turned off to the WnW trios. That's too bad. I do like this one though. Maybe you can try it out. WnW is very hit or miss and I think this is a hit :)
@Jennifer, I'm really loving this lippie now! And for less than a buck, it's so worth it :)
This is gorgeous! It makes your eyes pop!
ReplyDelete@Vintage Makeup, thank you. I was pleasantly surprised with this trio. It was a good buy.
ReplyDeleteThis palette looks so pretty and you have gorgeous lashes!
ReplyDelete@G A B Y, thank you! My lashes used to be fuller when I was younger, of course. LOL. I am happy with the length but what I really like is that the curl they have is natural. I never use an eyelash curler! And it's a good thing because I always think I'll pinch my lids with it :)
ReplyDeleteGreat FOTD. I love the colour of your lips.
ReplyDelete@Shang J., thank you!
ReplyDeleteThat lip color looks great on you!
