I applied the eyeshadows directly onto my bare forearm. I did not apply any base or primer at all. I imagine that with a base, the colors would be more vibrant. Over all, I did like the colors very much. Some of the lighter shades were very light and didn't appear well enough on my darker skin tone. But I am still pleased with them all.
Oh yeah, one more thing, I appologize for the sloppy work. I don't mean to post up worthless photos but I am new to blogging and I'm still learing. I tried adding names to the photos but that didn't work out so well! I guess I need to make the font bigger. Oh well, I'm trying. All I know is that I love blogging and that it is harder than I expected it to be. So much to learn! And no matter how hard it is for me, or how stubborn Blogger seems to be as of late, I plan on sticking around. Wish me luck!

Nice swatches and you're doing great! I like how you did flash and then no flash - it really shows how different the colors can look depending on lighting.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Joann. Yeah, when I was taking the pics, I was thinking, "Which ones look better, flash or no flash?" So why not put both! The colors do look very different in the different lighting. I'm glad you appreciated that!
ReplyDeleteI loved these duos too, Tsahi! I only had one and this was a couple of years back. So, with the great sale, I figured it was time to stock up. I'm really happy I started the blog too. It's been hard finding the time but I'm happy to receiving a lot of nice feedback. I'm happy!
