That beauty up there is Avon's Ultra Color Rich Lipstick in Rich Ruby. 

The Avon Ultra Color Rich Lipsticks have gotten a makeover as well.  The tubes have changed and are now squared with a clear window at the top so that you can see what color lipstick it is without opening the top.

The formula of this one is so creamy.  It feels amazing as it glides on your lips.  It is very rich and moisturizing.  The color pay off is phenomenal as well, as you can see.  It's a beautiful and classic red.  This is probably my favorite shade of red that I own right now.

There are 40 shades available to choose from and retail for $7.00 for .106 oz. net wt. of product.  You can purchase this shade today by clicking HERE but the UCR Lipsticks available for purchase right now are still in the classic round lipstick tubes, not in the new square tubes with the window up top.

Avon Makeup Maven 30 Day Challenge for June: Day 21

Hello, my Pretties!

Today I bring you one of the latest shades of the Avon Speed Dry+ Nail Enamel line.

Meet Cruisin' Coral.  This is one of four shades of nail polish that was added to the Speed Dry+ line in their Fiji Paradise Collection.  It was a LIMITED EDITION shade that is not available online at this time.

The color itself was much lighter than I expected it to be.  To me, it looked darker, more vibrant in the brochure.  It's not a bad color, it's just not one of my favorites.  It's pretty and delicate.  The finish is pearly and glossy.  As for the 30 second drying time, it does dry FAST!  By the time I am done apply polish on my second hand, the first hand is already dry.

Avon Makeup Maven 30 Day Challenge for June: Day 20

Hello, my Pretties!

So, I took a break from posting last night since Day 19 posted in July anyway.  Again, my apologies for being a bad blogger and not posting the proper look on the proper day.  Well, with that being said, let's finish up the challenge and see the last 10 looks.

Here is Day 20.

This is a BRAND NEW item for Avon.  It's not even available for sale just yet.  But soon!  It is the Avon True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Purple Pop.

Avon gave their popular eyeshadow quads a makeover.  The pans are now numbered and are different sizes instead of the nickel sized circles pans they used to be.

I loved the shades of purple included in this quad.  My favorite shade was #2 since it's along the lines of a lavender purple with a pink duo chrome.  But, #2 was the only eyeshadow that I had a problem applying.  It was like the more I tried to blend it out, it would disappear.  I applied #2 to my entire lid and you can see the finish is a bit blotchy.  I'm going to work with it some more and hope that I will be able to get it working just as well as the other three shadows.

I cannot wait to see what other shades will be available in these new quads!

Hello, my Pretties!

I have a fun product for you today.

This is the Avon Big Color Eye Pencil in Aquamarine.  These jumbo eye pencils are very handy to have.  You can use them as an eye liner or a shadow or even as an eyeshadow base.  They are extremely creamy and blend easily.  The lasting power is good when you wear over an eye primer.  I applied Aquamarine all over my entire lid and lower lash line.  After I applied a peach shade of mineral eyeshadow on top and it looked awesome!

Avon Makeup Maven 30 Day Challenge for June: Day 18

Hello, my Pretties!

I'm running out of time to get you all 30 days of looks in before the clock strikes midnight.  I don't think I'm going to make it!

 

 

This is the Avon Totally Kissable Lip Gloss in Pink Plush.  This is so not a good color for me!  Haha.  It's way too light and frosty for my skin tone.  Not a good look on me at all.  But I always have to make things work for me.  So, what I did was use Avon's Luxury Lip Liner in Chocolate all over my lips and then I applied Pink Plush on top and a slight "ombre" look was the final product which I loved.  Too light for you lipsticks or lip glosses work well over dark lip products.  Don't toss it, make it work for you!

Hello, my Pretties!

Today I have another new product to share with you!  I love having new things.

This is the Avon Glow Blusher Bronzer Duo in Rose Glow.  Of course, this reminded me of the E.L.F. blush/bronzer duo.  Haha.  It's the only other blush/bronzer duo that I have.  I loved the Rose Blush in this one but as for the bronzer, it was too light, I think.  The Rose blush showed up well on my cheeks but I didn't really notice the bronzer at all.  One of my fellow Makeup Mavens used this as an eyeshadow duo.  Not a bad idea.

Today I have a new product for you!  Yay!

Well, I guess the product isn't new.  This is a NEW shade in the existing Avon True Color Eyeshadow Duo line.  This is Luscious Orchid.  I am in love.  I promise you.  At first glance and in the brochure, this duo looks like a purple and brown.  I love wearing purple and brown together!  But once I applied it, it's more of a purple and gold.  Even better!  The purple applies more like a matte while the gold is more of a shimmer.  The two colors and finishes compliment each other perfectly.
