My mom used to sell Avon back in the day and she would get me lotions and lip balms and when I started getting a little bit older, she would give me the lightest shades of the tiny lipstick samples. And so my love affair with makeup began.
One of Avon's latest lip products is the line of Healthy Makeup. There are also foundations, powders, and liquid eye shadows under the Healthy Makeup line. I might get some of those. If I do, I'll share my thoughts with you.
For now, I have 2 lipsticks and 2 lip conditioners. These are wonderful. I love them. I like the feel of them. So smooth. They don't make my lips peel, which happens to me a lot with other lipsticks. They have a light scent, something fruity but I can't place my nose on it! I like the scent. Doesn't bother me but for those with a strong sense of smell, it might be a bit bothersome.
I had 2 of these for a while now, Nude Blush (lip conditioner) and Naturally Perfect (lipstick). Then, a couple of weeks ago, I got 2 more. Rose (lip conditioner) and Pink Light (lipstick). The colors of the lip conditioners appear bold in the tube but apply very sheer. So moisturizing! And the lip conditioner also has a Clear one, of course, that can be used under lipstick or alone. I might invest in that one.

I must say, Naturally Perfect is my favorite lipstick and I think Rose is my favorite lip conditioner. All in all, there are 10 shades of lipstick to choose from and 5 lip conditioner shades to choose. I might get a couple more. I don't know. But I do know that I like them and I am happy to have them.

ReplyDeleteHi, sorry to say the Naturally perfect (Which is my favorite color as well) I used to sell Avon too, is unatainable...grrrr..it is the only color I wear, and I didn't think to stock up..(sigh) having a heck of a time trying to locate...have u had any luck? ebay and amazon are a no go :O(

DeleteWell, I'll keep trying other avenues ..in the meantime, I continue scraping my lone lipstick in the mere hopes it will become the "neverending tube of lipstick"..HEY!! There's a new Avon concept...thinking better of it,,it won't work...they would just discontinue it,(no profits)..ok..good luck!
