HELLO, MY PRETTIES!
Welcome to my beauty blog! This is my first entry so, please be kind. *Smiley face*
I decided to do a FACE OF THE DAY for my first blog entry because, to be honest, it was the easiest thing I could think to do. I had the intention of starting up a blog and I thought January 1st would be the best launch date. Naturally. But with all the planning I did, I still was not prepared for today. January 1st came along faster than I thought it would. So, here is what I wore today. Nothing spectacular. I had this Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio I bought on December 26th so I was anxious to use it.

Today's face ingredients.
Wet n Wild Natural Wear Mineral Foundation (747 Medium)
Jillian Dempsey for Avon All Over Face Powder (Sandy Corals)
E.L.F. Eyelid Primer (Sheer)
Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Trio (384B On Cloud Nine)
E.L.F. Liquid Eyeliner (Coffee)
Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Mascara (Ja-Va-Voom!)
Avon Color Trend Eyeliner (Midnight Blue)
Avon Glazewear Dazzle Lip Gloss (G542 Nude Shimmer)
I used the WnW Mineral Foundation all over my face with the JD All Over Face Powder just on my cheeks as a blush. Before applying the eyeshadow, I applied the E.L.F. Eyelid Primer first. I used the WnW On Cloud Nine trio as instructed in the palette. The darker blue on the lid, the brown in the crease, and the light pale blue as a highlight. Once that was done, I applied the E.L.F. Liquid Eyeliner on my upper lash line. For my waterline, I used the Avon Color Trend Eyeliner. To finish up the eyes, I applied two coats of the Beauty Rush Mascara. And to complete the look, a quick slick of Avon Glazewear on my lips.
Okay, so this is the final look. I'm happy with the outcome. I don't like wearing blue eyeshadows at all but I figured, what the heck, it's a new year, let this be the start of doing a lot of new things! I hope you liked this, even though it was a very simple and understated look. Whether you vote HOT OR NOT, thanks for viewing my blog!
Have a PRETTYFUL day! Luv & Luk, --L. |
